URGENT Addendum to our proposed GIPA roadmap 

project, below -- June 15, 2025

As an urgent addendum to our below-proposed GIPA roadmap project, we call for an immediate ceasefire on both sides (Israel/U.S. and Iran), while also urging an immediate return to diplomacy, especially between the U.S. and Iran.  

June 24, 2025 UPDATE

Hoping that the announced ceasefire is not violated (especially by Israel), we now re-emphasize, re-urge, and repeat our hoped-for principled (preferably)"Vatican-mediated" return to morally guided peace-seeking "global" diplomacy, in order to begin the painful process of healing the conflict reliably and durably--as our GIPA roadmap project (see below) has proposed.

PhD, Interdisciplinary Andean Indian Studies, Inst. of Latin American Studies, U. of Texas (Austin); A Peruvian Social Psychology and Interdisciplinary social sciences Professor and Senior Consultant, focusing on social problems from an Indigenous Peoples’ perspective; has taught for over 2 decades in various universities in Peru, including the National University of San Marcos; Has made significant contributions to bilingual education, social/political psychology, Andean identity and gender systems; Her extensive socio-anthropological research for UNESCO, FAO and the Swiss Technical Cooperation project included the early childhood socialization practices in indigenous communities;   Has been an observer in 9 consecutive annual meetings of the UN Permanent Forum of Indigenous Issues (2006-13), her historical research being the gender dimensions of the Tupac Amaru II rebellion (1780-85), and her deep awareness of the long-term effects of Spain’s officially decreed colonial program to eradicate indigenous languages and cultures after the rebellion, has led to her strong commitment to restore the historical memory and the social and cultural identity of Andean Indian populations; Public pedagogy and cultural activism through public speaking and community engagement are her present concerns.
