Artist and author helped start Food Not Bombs in 1980 with seven of his friends. Keith has recovered, cooked and shared food with the hungry with Food Not Bombs for over 45 years. He was arrested "for making a political statement" by sharing food with the hungry in San Francisco, spent over 500 nights in jail and faced 25 years to life in prison.  Amnesty International declared Keith a Prisoner of Conscience in 1995 and called for his unconditional release. He wrote and illustrated "Hungry for Peace - How you can help end poverty and war with Food Not Bombs”, “The Anarchist Cookbook” and his memoir “Soup Street.”

SPEAKER: Frank Rupp -- Historically informed and well-read, Frank has been a long-time American peace, justice, and democracy activist -- interested particularly in the American Anti-slavery war, the U.S. role in the second World War, and the proliferation of nuclear electric generating stations in the United States. He has been an active participant in the Tucson, Arizona node of Occupy Wall Street, among other nonviolent protest movements which spread information regarding structural changes to U.S. domestic and foreign policies. Thus, he has paid special attention to the layers of deep corruption which have been slowly grafted onto the Constitution for the United States of America. Professionally, he is an expert mechanic, specializing in vintage European cars.

1- Prof. Stanley Krippner: Distinguished (retired) Prof. of Psychology / Prolific author Mini-bio: Professor Stanley Krippner is a pioneer in the study of consciousness, emphasizing cross-cultural perspectives and non-ordinary experiences that question mainstream paradigms. He is a prolific author and researcher on such topics as dreaming, psychedelics, creativity, shamanism, parapsychology, and trauma, and is a recipient of seven lifetime achievement awards in multidisciplinary fields. A fellow in five American Psychological Association divisions and past president of two, he is a Research Fellow at the California Institute for Human Science, a Fellow of the Institute of Noetic Science, and an Honorary Associate of the Society for Shamanic Practice. His travels have taken him to several Islamic countries, namely Morocco, Egypt, Turkey, Indonesia, Dubai, Iran, and the West Bank.
